Puppies are vet-checked around 6 - 7 weeks of age by a licensed veterinarian.

In order to produce the most emotionally and socially well-rounded puppies, we implement early neurological stimulation which doubles as the adopted starting point of puppy culture.
ENS consists of five basic exercises that are done daily for the first two weeks of life (starting on day three of life). They are very simple exercises to do that all involve handling the puppies and exposing them to various stimulus so they can gain early exposure.
We've seen firsthand that this process makes a huge difference later in allowing the puppies to be relaxed, less reactive, and curious as opposed to fearful.
Puppy culture is a program that was developed by Jane Killion, a dog trainer and breeder. It's an organized program based on classical conditioning with detailed videos that you can watch, study, and implement into your own puppy raising process.
Simply whelping, feeding, and watering puppies to adopt out may be enough for some breeders but these puppies will one day become dogs who need a good foundation for training and learning how to be a good canine family member in the 'people' world. This is exactly why we chose this particular program.
To read more about puppy culture I wrote a more in-depth blog you can find at the bottom of the home page. You can also go to https://shoppuppyculture.com/ if you'd like to continue your puppy's puppy culture training structurally after they've left us. This program continues through the 12th week of life and is a critical time for setting that foundation.
